Dual federalism

Dual federalism is a way to divide power between the national government and the state government. The national government is responsible for making rules that everyone in the country has to follow. The state government is responsible for its own laws that everyone in that state has to follow. Dual federalism makes it so that both governments can have authority over different parts of people's lives. This way, both sides can make sure that the people's needs are being taken care of.
