Cooperative federalism

Cooperative federalism is when state and federal governments work together to solve problems. Imagine two kids playing a game together - the game needs two players and the kids work together to win. It's like that with state and federal governments. Each has its own job and together they work to solve big problems that the states alone cannot do.
