Subsidiarity

Subsidiarity is a idea that things should be done at the lowest level possible. For example, if there is a problem or something that needs to be done it should be done at the closest level that can do it. For example, a family should take care of its own problems instead of always turning to the government or someone else to solve it. That way everyone's problems can be handled closer to the people affected by it and it will be more efficient.
