ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Grassroots democracy

Grassroots democracy is when people in a group come together to make decisions about important issues that affect them. It's a way for people to take control of their lives and make sure their ideas are heard and respected. People in the group can talk to each other and share their ideas, and then vote on which ideas they like the best. This way everyone in the group has a say, and their voices are heard.
