Dubai Uncovered
Dubai is a place where many people go to see tall buildings and big shopping centers. It's a city in a country called the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates is a place with lots of oil, which is a kind of fuel that we use to power cars and machines.
Dubai is very hot because it's in the desert. In the desert, there's not a lot of water or plants growing. To keep the city cool, people built giant air conditioners that are as big as a small house!
But, even though Dubai is very hot, they have lots of fun things to do. You can go skiing inside a big mall, ride on fast roller coasters that go really high up, and even see dolphins and seals do tricks at the aquarium.
However, some people say that not everything in Dubai is good. Some workers that help build the tall buildings and clean the city are treated badly and don't get enough money. They come from other countries to work in Dubai, but sometimes they don't get treated fairly. This is not kind or right, and it's important to treat everyone with respect, no matter where they come from.
