Dysteleology

Dysteleology means believing that things are not meant to have an intended purpose or design, and things happen by chance. It's like when you flip a coin and it lands on heads, you didn't mean it to land on heads but it was just a matter of luck. Dysteleology is the opposite of teleology, which is the belief that everything has a purpose and a design.
