Dzo

Okay kiddo, let me explain what a dzo is! Have you heard of cows and yaks before? Well, a dzo is a type of animal that is a mix between a cow and a yak! Isn't that cool?

These animals are mostly found in the Himalayan region, in countries like Bhutan and Nepal. They are very important to the people who live there because they can be used for farming, transportation, and even for their fur and meat.

Dzos are bigger and stronger than regular cows, and they have long hair to keep them warm in the snowy mountains. They also have bigger lungs and hearts, which help them breathe better in high altitudes where there is less oxygen.

Even though they are a mix of two different animals, dzos are not able to have babies with either cows or yaks. They are a unique and special animal all on their own!
