E-learning (theory)

E-learning (also known as electronic learning or online learning) is a way of learning using electronic technology, like computers or phones. Instead of going to class in a physical classroom, and learning from a teacher in person, e-learning lets you learn online from anywhere with an internet connection. With e-learning, you can access different educational materials, like videos, slides and activity sheets, from your device. You can also communicate with other students and teachers using messaging platforms, like e-mail or an online forum. E-learning makes it easy to learn and interact with other students, even when you’re not in the same place.
