Early impact of Mesoamerican goods in Iberian society

Long long ago, a long-long time before you were born, there was a place called Mesoamerica. It was very far away from here, across the big big ocean. People who lived there made many interesting things, like colorful clothes, beautiful jewelry, and yummy chocolate.

Now, the people who lived in Iberian society were different from the people who lived in Mesoamerica. They had never seen or tasted anything that came from Mesoamerica before. So when the people from Iberia saw the things from Mesoamerica, they were very surprised and amazed! They thought it was really cool.

The people from Iberia started to trade with the people from Mesoamerica so they could get the things they liked, such as cocoa beans from which they made chocolate. They started using these things for many different things - like the colorful clothes became fashionable and everyone wanted them, the beautiful jewelry was worn at special events, and even the chocolate was enjoyed by many people.

So basically, the impact of Mesoamerican goods in Iberian society was that they brought new, interesting things that the people in Iberia had never seen before. This changed the way they used and valued things in their society.
