Earth's circumference

Earth's circumference is the total distance around the outside of the Earth. It is like measuring how long it would take to walk completely around the Earth. Scientists have figured out that the Earth's circumference is about 40,075 kilometers or about 24,855 miles. That’s a long distance! It's like walking around the Earth more than 600 times.
