ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

East Syriac Rite

OK kiddo, so there are lots of different ways that people worship and pray to God. One of these ways is called the East Syriac Rite.

This way of worshipping started a long time ago in a place called Mesopotamia, which is now part of Iraq. People who followed this way of worshiping believed in Jesus and wanted to honor him in their prayers and ceremonies.

Now, the East Syriac Rite has some special ways of doing things that are different from other ways of worshiping. For example, they use a special language called Syriac, which is kind of like a mix between Hebrew and Aramaic. They also have some special prayers and songs that they sing during their services.

Overall, the East Syriac Rite is one way that people have found to worship and praise God. Just like there are many different types of food or games, there are many different ways to worship!
