Ecologically based invasive plant management

Ecologically based invasive plant management is a way of controlling invasive plants in an area. Invasive plants are plants that are not native to an area and aren't part of the natural ecosystem, but they can spread quickly and cause damage to native plants and animals. To control them, ecologically based management focuses on understanding the environment and how the invasive plants interact with it so that we can find the best way to get rid of them. This may involve cutting down and removing the invasive plants, as well as planting native plants that can replace them and help keep them from growing back.
