Ecovillage

An ecovillage is a place where people live and work in a way that takes care of the planet. People in ecovillages usually use things like renewable energy sources (like the sun or wind) to power their homes and other buildings, grow their own food, and use natural resources like trees and water in responsible and sustainable ways. They also often support and promote social justice, diversity, and cultural exchange. Ecovillages are designed to be energy efficient in all aspects, from the construction of the structures, to the sources they get their energy and other materials from, to how they recycle and compost resources.
