Ecumenopolis

Ecumenopolis is the idea that one day the entire world could be one big city. That means instead of having lots of cities all over the world, there would be just one very big city that covers the whole planet! This is something that people think could happen in the future, when there are even more buildings, roads, and bridges so that people all over the world can live in one place.
