Edith Stein

Edith Stein was a Jewish woman who lived during the early 20th century. She was a philosopher who wrote books about how we can understand life better by studying the Bible. She also wrote about how people should respect the rights of others, even if they don't agree with them. Edith was an important teacher and leader in her community. She was a Catholic who worked hard to build bridges between different faiths and help people of all backgrounds live together in peace and harmony. In 1942, Edith was taken away by the Nazis and sent to a concentration camp. She was killed there but she remains an important inspirational figure whose teachings and writings continue to be remembered today.
