Education in Malta

Education in Malta is a way for kids to learn new things, make friends and grow up to be smart and responsible adults. Just like going to school in any other country, kids in Malta also go to school to learn different subjects like math, history, science, language and more.

In Malta, there are different levels of education that kids can attend. There is pre-primary education which is for kids between the ages of 3 to 5 years old, primary education which is for kids between the ages of 6 to 11 years old, secondary education which is for kids between the ages of 12 to 18 years old, and tertiary education which is for post-secondary students.

In primary education, kids learn basic subjects like math and language in Maltese and English. They also learn about history, science and art. These subjects help kids to learn and understand different aspects of life and the world around them.

In secondary education, kids continue to learn additional subjects like geography, social studies, and more advanced math and science topics. They prepare for exams, get ready for higher education or plan to join the workforce after school.

Malta has both public and private schools that are available to students. Public schools are free, while private schools require a fee. Students are often required to wear uniforms to school as well.

Overall, the education system in Malta helps kids to grow and learn new things so that they can become responsible and intelligent adults.
