ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Educational data mining

Educational data mining is when people use computers to help learn about information about how people learn. It looks at things like how well students understand things, which methods of teaching work best, and how students use technology when they learn. It collects data from different sources like tests, surveys, and electronic learning programs, and then scientists use that data to try and figure out ways to make learning easier and more effective.
