Elective rights

Elective rights are rights that you have as a citizen that you can decide whether or not to use. For example, you have the right to vote, which means you can decide if you want to go to the polls and cast your ballot or not. You also have the right to start a business, which means you can choose if you want to start up your own business or not. Basically, elective rights are rights that you can pick and choose if you want to use them or not.
