Electric blanket

Hey kiddo! Do you know what a blanket is? It's a cozy, warm covering that you snuggle up in to sleep. An electric blanket is just like a regular blanket, but with a special power cord that makes it warm all over!

Think about how sometimes you get cold even under a regular blanket, and you have to put on extra clothes or get up and turn up the heat. Well, an electric blanket is a super convenient way to stay really toasty without even leaving your bed!

Once you turn it on, the blanket will start to heat up. It might take a little bit to warm up, but once it does, it will stay nice and toasty until you turn it off.

Now, just like with anything that gets really hot, it's important to be safe when using an electric blanket. You shouldn't fall asleep with it on, and you shouldn't pile other blankets or stuff on top of it. You also need to be careful not to spill any drinks or anything on it, because it can be dangerous to get water or other liquids near the electrical parts of the blanket.
