Kotatsu

A kotatsu is a traditional Japanese heated table which is like a blanket with a table top. It has a heater underneath so when you sit around it, it warms you up. You usually put your hands and feet under the kotatsu to keep warm while you are eating or working. It is useful in cold weather and a lot of people in Japan like using kotatsu to stay warm and cozy.
