Electric power transmission is like a hose that brings electricity from one place to another. The electricity is created at one place, like a power plant, and then sent through metal wires (like a hose) to places like homes and businesses. The metal wires transfer electricity created at the power plant over long distances so it can be used in places far away from the original power plant.
