ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Electrical impedance

Electrical Impedance is like a wall that blocks the electricity from flowing. If you think of electricity as water, it's like a big boulder in the middle of a river that can slow down the water or even stop it from flowing. Impedance can be helpful if you want to slow down the flow of electricity so it doesn't get too strong, but it can also be a problem if it makes the electricity too weak or stops it from flowing at all.
