Electromagnetic reverberation chamber

An electromagnetic reverberation chamber is a big room where we can do experiments to test how things react to electricity and magnetism. Imagine a big room with walls made of special materials that reflect electric and magnetic waves over and over again. This creates a jumbled up mixture of electromagnetic waves bouncing around which we call "reverberations". These waves can then be measured and studied to learn more about how they affect different things.

Inside the chamber, we can place objects, like phones or cars, and see how they interact with the reverberations. Scientists use this to test how certain devices react to electromagnetic interference, which is when external electric or magnetic waves interfere with a device's proper functioning. For example, they might test if a pacemaker still works properly when exposed to electromagnetic waves.

It's like a big playground for scientists to test things with electricity and magnets, and they can learn a lot about how things work and behave in different situations.
