ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Electronic billing

Hi there little one! Do you know what a bill is? It's like a paper that shows how much money you need to pay for something you bought or used. Well, an electronic bill or e-bill is just like that paper bill, but instead of a physical paper, it's sent to your computer or phone electronically, through the internet.

When you go to a store or have a service that requires a bill, instead of receiving a paper one, you can ask the person in charge if you can receive it electronically. You will need to give them your email address or phone number, and they will send the bill to that address.

When you receive an e-bill, you can open it on your computer or phone, just like opening a regular email or text message. You can then see how much money you owe and the due date for payment. You can pay your e-bill online through your bank account or credit card, without needing to go to a physical store or office.

Isn't it cool how technology can make things more convenient for us? And it's also better for the environment because we don't need to use paper for bills anymore.
