Elephant Trap

An elephant trap is a trap that was traditionally used to catch elephants in the wild. It works by digging a deep hole in the ground and covering it with twigs and leaves. The idea is that the elephant will walk over the covered hole and fall in. Once the elephant is in the hole, it can't easily get out and becomes trapped.

However, nowadays, the term "elephant trap" is often used to describe a situation where someone falls into a trap or a mistake that they can't easily get out of. Just like an elephant getting stuck in a hole and needing help to get out, someone who falls into an "elephant trap" might need help or support to get back on track.

So, it's important to be careful and aware of potential traps that might be in your path, and to seek help if you become stuck in one.
