Elevator music

Elevator music is music that is usually played in elevators in stores, office buildings, apartment buildings, or other places where lots of people are going up and down. It’s usually soft, calm music so people don’t get distracted or feeling anxious while they’re waiting in the elevator. Sometimes elevator music is classical music, but it can be any kind of music that’s slow and calming - like jazz or easy listening music.
