Elon Lindenstrauss is a famous mathematician. He discovered something called “measure rigidity” which helps people better understand the structure of space. Basically, he found that shapes or patterns don't change no matter how much you stretch them or how you rotate them. This means that if you are looking at a map of the world, no matter how much you stretch it or turn it this way or that, the shapes should still stay the same. As a result of his work, Elon won the prestigious Fields Medal for Mathematics.
