Encephalitis lethargica is a sickness where the body's brain gets really inflamed. This means that the brain swells up, which can make it hard for the body to control itself. Some people experience things like droopy eyelids, stiffness in the arms and legs, and feeling like it is hard to move or think. This illness can also cause someone to feel very sleepy, and it can be very hard for them to wake up. In some cases, it can even lead to death.
