Energy forecasting

Energy forecasting means trying to guess how much energy people will use in the future. People use energy to power homes and machines, so it's important for us to try to predict how much energy will be used so that we can make sure there's enough electricity for everyone. To do this, we can look at past energy use and make estimates about how much energy people will need in the future based on those numbers. Forecasting energy use helps us figure out how much energy we need to produce and when so we can keep the lights on for everyone.
