ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Energy transition

Energy transition is when we change the way we get energy from different sources. Instead of using resources like coal and oil to make energy that we use everyday, we are transitioning to using more renewable resources like the sun, wind, and water. This means that we are using cleaner energy that won't pollute the environment like coal and oil do. Renewable energy is better for the environment because it does not cause pollution, which means healthier air to breathe and less garbage for nature. Energy transition is important for our planet's future and for us because it will help us keep our air clean and make sure there is enough energy for everybody.
