Engaged spirituality

Hey kiddo, do you know what spirituality is? It's when people believe in something more than themselves, something that gives them meaning and purpose in life. Engaged spirituality takes that belief and puts it into action.

Let's say you believe in helping others and making the world a better place. Engaged spirituality means you don't just sit around and think about it, you actually do something about it. You might volunteer at a homeless shelter, donate money to a charity, or speak up for people who are being treated unfairly.

It's like when you see someone who needs help, like a friend who fell down and scraped their knee. You don't just say, "I hope you feel better," and walk away. You actually help them up, get a band-aid, and make sure they are okay. Engaged spirituality is like that, but on a bigger scale.

It's about living your beliefs and values every day, and making a positive difference in the world. It's not always easy, but it can be very rewarding. When you help others and make the world a better place, you feel good about yourself and the things you do. That's what engaged spirituality is all about, doing good and feeling good about it.
