Environment and intelligence are two things that affect how smart we are. Environment means the places, people, and things that we come in contact with every day. This can influence how much we learn and how intelligent we become. Intelligence is the ability to understand, learn, solve problems, and adapt quickly to new situations. We are born with some intelligence, but how much we are able to use and keep growing depends on our environment. For example, if we grow up without access to good books and classrooms, we won't have as many opportunities to learn as someone who grew up with access to those things. So, our environment can affect how much intelligence we gain in our lifetimes.
