Environmental data

Environmental data is information that scientists collect about the natural world, such as in forests, oceans, and lakes. It includes things like the air temperature, wind speed, or the amount of rain that falls in an area. Scientists use this data to track how the environment is changing and make sure it stays healthy. For example, they can use data to look at changes in the animal populations or the water temperature of an ocean. In short, environmental data helps us understand the health of the planet and take steps to protect it.
