ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Environmental groups and resources serving K–12 schools

Environmental groups are organizations that want to protect the Earth and its natural resources. They believe that if we take care of the environment, it will take care of us.

K-12 schools are schools for children from kindergarten (age 5-6) to grade 12 (age 17-18).

Some of these environmental groups want to help K-12 schools learn about the environment and help them protect it. They have resources that they can share with teachers and students to help them understand things like recycling, conserving energy, and being eco-friendly.

These resources might include lesson plans, educational videos, books, and even field trips to nature centers or parks. They are designed to be simple and easy to understand for students of all ages.

Overall, these environmental groups are working hard to teach kids about the importance of taking care of the planet so that they can grow up to be responsible and environmentally-conscious citizens.
