Epistemic community

An epistemic community is a group of people who all have expertise in a certain area and share knowledge about that area so that everyone can benefit. For example, a group of scientists might form an epistemic community to share findings about a certain type of disease, so that everyone can learn about it and use the information to make decisions about how to treat or prevent the disease.
