ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Epistemic feedback

Epistemic feedback is when someone gives you feedback about how you think. The person giving the feedback helps you think about a problem in a different way so that you can better understand it and come up with a solution. For example, if you were trying to remember the capital of a country, your friend might give you feedback about how you can better remember the answer. They might suggest that you break the name of the city into pieces and focus on each sound separately to help you recall it.
