Eprouvette

An eprouvette is a tiny glass tube that scientists use to measure how much liquid there is.
Imagine you have a very small and thin glass straw. It's like a tiny tube that you can see through, and one end is closed while the other end is open. This straw is called an eprouvette.
When scientists want to measure a liquid, they carefully pour it into the open end of the eprouvette. The liquid will go into the tube and fill it up to a certain point. They can then look at the tube and see how high the liquid goes inside it.
The scientists can see how much liquid is in the eprouvette because the tube is see-through. It's like looking through a small window. They can also use measurement marks on the side of the tube to know exactly how much liquid is in it.
This helps scientists to be very precise when they want to know how much liquid there is. It's like having a special ruler for liquids, but in the form of a tiny glass tube.
