ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Equivalence principle (geometric)

The equivalence principle (geometric) states that the force of gravity and the force of acceleration are the same. This means that a person falling in circle wouldn't feel any different than a person standing on a moving platform that circles around their feet. It's like you are in a spacecraft and the whole spacecraft is floating in space. No matter what direction you go, you would feel like you are floating and weightless.
