Eternal return is like a never ending story. No matter what happens, the same thing goes on happening over and over. It's like a repeating pattern. For example, imagine you're walking down a road. Every day, the same things happen on that road: you see the same people, you always turn the same way at the same corner, and so on. That's like eternal return.
