Ethics of Jainism

Jainism is a type of religion, and it has certain principles of ethics that all followers of Jainism try to follow. These ethics are all about respecting both human beings and all living things, no matter how small! Jainism teaches us to be kind, fair and considerate of each other and all living creatures. This means that Jain followers should think about how their actions will affect others and act in ways to help everyone and everything. For example, they should not hurt or kill any living thing (even insects) and should be careful to not damage the environment they live in, like throwing away trash that could hurt or pollute the land.
