Ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, people are divided into different groups based on their ethnicity. Ethnicity means that they share certain cultural traditions, such as their language, religion, and customs.

The three largest ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina are the Bosniaks, the Croats, and the Serbs. Bosniaks are mostly Muslim, while Croats are mostly Catholic and Serbs are mostly Orthodox Christian.

There are also smaller ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as the Jews, Roma, and Albanians.

The ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina have a long and complex history, with many conflicts and disputes among them. During the 1990s, this led to a violent war in which thousands of people were killed and many more were displaced from their homes.

Today, Bosnia and Herzegovina is still struggling to find peace and unity among its different ethnic groups. There are still tensions and disagreements between them, but many people are working towards creating a more harmonious and inclusive society.
