Ethnogenesis

Ethnogenesis is like when you mix different colors of play-doh together to make a new color. Only instead of play-doh, it's people's cultures and traditions mixing together to make a new group of people. For example, when different groups of people with different languages and traditions come together and develop a new language and culture, they have formed a new ethnic group through ethnogenesis. It's like creating a brand new toy by piecing together different parts. Just like that, people from different backgrounds come together to form something new and unique.
