Ethnomethodology

Ethnomethodology is a type of sociology and is a way of looking at how people make sense of their day-to-day lives. It helps people study the way people interact with each other, the way that people come up with rules and expectations for behaviour, and the way that people create their own meaning in the world. Basically, it helps us understand how people behave and why they make the decisions they do. In short, ethnomethodology helps us figure out how people make the world work.
