Evidence-based conservation

Evidence-based conservation is when people use data and science to try to protect animals and nature. This means they look at things like how many animals are living somewhere, what kind of habitats they live in, and which animals and plants are most important for the environment. They also look at how people can cause harm to nature and how people can help protect it. Evidence-based conservation helps people make sure that animals, places, and nature are protected for the future.
