Evidentialism

Evidentialism is a way of thinking that says you should only believe things if you have evidence that proves they are true. So, it's like a detective who wants to solve a puzzle: they look at all the pieces of evidence they have, they figure out which pieces add up, and then they can make a guess about the answer. But they'll only believe it is the right answer if they have enough evidence to show it is true.
