Okay kiddo, you know how there are people who have jobs like doctors, teachers, and police officers and they have a lot of power and authority to help and make decisions? Well, exousiastes is a fancy word that means someone who has that kind of power and authority in the Bible. They were important people who were given special jobs by God to help others and make important decisions. So they were kind of like superheroes, but for helping people in a spiritual way!
