Expulsion (education)

Expulsion is when a student is told they can't come back to school anymore. It's like when you get in big trouble at home and your parents send you to your room for a really long time, except instead of your bedroom you can't go to school anymore.

Sometimes kids get expelled because they did something really, really bad like hurt someone else or bring something dangerous to school. Other times, it might just be because they kept getting into trouble and didn't follow the rules even after their teachers and parents talked to them about it many times.

Expulsion is a very serious consequence and means you have to find a new school to go to. It's important to always be respectful and follow the rules at school so you can avoid getting expelled.
