Expulsions and exoduses of Jews

A lot of times, over the last thousands of years, people have been mean to Jewish people. During those times, Jewish people have been 'expelled' or made to leave the countries they were living in, or 'exoduses' which means when lots of Jewish people left a place at the same time. This kind of happened a lot in the past, and it still sometimes happens today. People were mean to Jewish people in different ways, like by not allowing them to have the same rights as everyone else, or forcing them to live in different places away from everyone else. Some countries even made laws saying that Jewish people had to leave. Or sometimes, people went after Jewish people and threatened to hurt them if they didn't go away. Sometimes it was so bad that all the Jewish people had to leave.
