ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Extended coverage

Extended coverage means getting extra protection for things we want to keep safe for a longer time. Let's say you have a toy that you really like and you don't want it to break easily. You can get extended coverage for it to make sure if it gets damaged, you can get it fixed or replaced.

Similarly, grown-ups have expensive things like cars or home appliances that they want to keep safe for a longer time. They can get extended coverage from insurance companies to protect these things from damage, theft or any other unfortunate circumstance.

Think of it like a shield or armor that keeps your precious belongings safe. By getting extended coverage, you can have peace of mind knowing that your things are protected even if a bad thing happens.
