ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Extensions of Fisher's method

Fisher's Method is a way of combining the results of two or more studies to give us more accurate results than just looking at each study separately. Extensions of Fisher's Method take this a step further by allowing us to combine results from more than two studies and to use more complicated information than just the standard results. By using extensions of Fisher's Method, we can look at more studies and gain more reliable information about our topic of interest.
